A mixture of white clay and an iron bearing clay gives me the perfect background for my favourite Shino glaze. A wee bit of iron decoration adds to the natural style of this hand made plate. Oven to table ware, dish washer safe and very food safe. It has a rim to pick up with and to prevent spillage of you chose a liquid type meal. There is a subtle ribbed design on the rim which has filled with glaze to produce the colour variation. Another decorative touch which gives this plate individuality.
